Manchester United finished the 2017-18 season without any silverware but there were definite improvements under Jose Mourinho. United finished second in the league behind Manchester City and they lost to Chelsea in the FA Cup final. However pressure will be on Jose Mourinho to finally deliver one of the big trophies in his third season as United hunt for Premier League or Champions League glory in 2018-19 season.

United have already done their transfer business with Fred and Diogo Dalot while Alexis Sanchez was signed back in January 2018. We can expect another big name transfer before the transfer window closes on 09 August 2018 with either Gareth Bale or Ivan Perisic linked heavily to United.
